The instructions for my assignment began when I took the brave step of moving from the familiarity of the United States to the vibrant culture of Ghana. It was in this new landscape that I felt as if God took a giant flashlight, the size of the earth, and illuminated my heart, revealing layers of my being that I had long tucked away. During this transformative time, I received a clear call from God: to step back from my platform and the public social media presence I had built with 68k followers, and to rest in His presence.

This was not an easy decision. There were moments of doubt and fear, as I wrestled with the perceived loss of connection and purpose. Yet, in the midst of this imperfect journey, a profound realization dawned upon me: because of my obedience to stop and rest, I learned the true essence of the saying" we are never alone." I knew it before, but now, I AM CERTAIN! Jesus walks with me through every challenge, reminding me of His unwavering presence.

As I navigate this radical season of rest, I am rediscovering myself, peeling back the layers of pain and rejection. Each day brings a renewed sense of beauty in vulnerability. Sometimes, the Lord's commands may seem perplexing, but I’ve learned that if we can embrace obedience, we will see the tapestry of God's perfect will unfold. His plans are carefully designed specifically for me. Even in the moments when I can't see the bigger picture, I can trust that He knows what He is doing. So, I hold tight to my faith, knowing that the Creator of all is guiding my path.
